Day 1 KL – Beijing
Depart from KL at 18:25 (by Malaysia Airline) or at 19:10 (by Air
Asia).
Day 2 Beijing (B/L/D)
Land in Beijing at 00:20 (by Malaysia Airline) or 01:15 (by Air Asia).
After a warm welcome, our guide will accompany you to hotel for check-in
assistance. The very first place to visit is Summer Palace. Being the largest imperial garden nationwide, it
was first built in the Qing emperor Qianlong’s
time in 1751 but burned down in1860 by the French and British army. The garden
was restored in 1886 by the Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment. It became a favorite haunt of Cixi, who even preferred it to the
Forbidden City, and named it Yihe Yuan
(meaning the garden of health and harmony). On the way to lunch, we will take a
look at Silk Store, where you will
find the best quality silk products. Pray
at the Ming dynasty-built Nan Dou Ya Mosque – a Mosque with unique Chinese style
& hundreds years of history. After some casual shopping at Bamboo Carbon
Store, there will be a Xin Jiang
Muslim Flavor dinner served. Enjoy the wonderful Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Day 3
Beijing (B/L/D)
The tour to Tian An Men Square opens a brand new day. As the largest city square in the world, it
is bordered by the Great Hall of the
People and Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum. Next, we are going to
see Forbidden City. Located north of the square, it is the complex of
imperial palace and was home to Emperors for over 500 years. Grand halls and
courts gradually give way to more intimate domestic quarters, presenting an
insight into the pampered isolation of the emperors. Before lunch, there will
also be a professional Foot Massage offered free at Herbal Medicine Center. Today’s prayers will be held at the most
famous Niu Jie Mosque, followed by Muslim Supermarket nearby - the only one for local Muslims in
Beijing. Our evening time is for Wang Fu
Jing Shopping Street and its Night
Food Market.
Day 4 Beijing (B/L/D)
Stop by at Jade Museum - a
place helps you to have a better understanding on Chinese culture. Then comes
the highlight of our China tour, the climbing of The Great Wall. Built in the Warring
States period (475-221BC) as a series of earthworks erected by individual
kingdoms as a defense against each other as well as from invasions from the
north, the wall we see in the present day was left from Ming dynasty. After some shopping time at the Crystal
Shop, we will go to a local Muslim restaurant nearby for lunch. On the way back to downtown, there
will be a brief shopping time at Burning
Cream Centre. And our day will be ended with the most famous Ya Xiu Market.
Day 5 Beijing – KL (B/L/D)
Check-out in the morning. Another “must-see” place in Beijing is the
prestigious Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. There we will have an
outside tour. Following programs are Fresh
Water Pearl Center and Tea House (with a fabulous Tea Ceremony). Lunch. The time left is for blast shopping at the very popular Hong Qiao
Market and Xiu Shui Market. After a tasty Halal dinner, our
guide will see you off at Beijing International Airport for the midnight flight
going home.
